Poor construction of zipper August 23, 2010 Casey Jones I simply cannot zip the bag closed or open it is useless. I wish that I di not purchase this item.
Good August 19, 2010 Spiders (Utah, USA) As a GPS, this product is really good with a bog screen and easy to use. But I still trust maps from google or map quest than GPS.
Great Garmin Case August 17, 2010 Linda C. Palmer (Birmingham, AL USA) This is perfect for my new Garmin. It's a hard case to really protect my investment. It has pockets for carrying the quick instruction sheet. I've really enjoyed this case.
Great graphics, easy to use, sometimes inaccurate instructions August 9, 2010 I bought the Nuvi 255W to replace my aging Garmin Street Pilot c330. Overall, I am satisfied with the product. It has very good graphics, slim form factor, and is easy to use. On the other hand, I have noticed that the driving instructions are sometimes misleading. For example, POIs may sometimes not be on the side of the street as the driving instructions indicate. Moreover, the driving instructions favor major roads and do not always use the fastest route when the fastest route involves using secondary roads. In addition, when starting up a trip, the device often requests me to drive to the indicated route but the route is not displayed on the screen until the view is compressed. It's also slow at the start up in finding current locations. Having said that, I like the text to speech feature although the computer voice often mispronounces street names. I think the issues that I have stated can be fixed with a software update. Garmin, are you listening?
Nuvi hard case July 28, 2010 smrtshopper Great quality. I'm glad I bought this and not a soft case. If you're looking for a safe way to store your GPS I'd say get this case. You won't be disappointed.
