This case is the perfect size and has the compartments necessary to store my Garmin 1490 GPS, data cable, power cable, wall charger and lifetime map card.

This is a great storage solution if you are a gadget freak and have just about everything from a point-and-shoot camera, ipod touch, multiple flash drives, small gaming devices, batteries, chargers... etc. The case is under 10 dollars and it will organize a lot of small gadgets, this is especially useful if you travel a lot and would love to bring all your small electronic devices with you. Some people like to be neat freaks or just well organized, there are multiple pockets and zippers in this Travel case and it can be enjoyable to figure out how to make the best use of it while you are arranging your essential items. Will this item change your life? You bet! Ok... just kidding. But it will make things easier. :)

When traveling, I used to cringe at the number of electronics cases I was carrying in my bag: one for my iPod, my camera, my Flip camcorder, and all of their wires, chargers, and other "extras." This AmazonBasics case is fantastic because it literally has a place for everything and keeps it all organized.
The case has a semi-hard shell (likely plastic) covered with a durable, weatherproof poly/nylon fabric. It probably wouldn't hold up if you dropped it from a 10-story building; but for the kind of everyday wear and tear that comes with traveling, it does the job beautifully. (If you need something that would survive in a combat zone, this is not the case for you.) The zipper is sturdy, covers three sides of the case, and has a soft, grippy rubber pull-fob. The inside of the case is lined with bright orange microfiber, ensuring that none of your electronics gets scratched. I know some reviewers have had issues with the fabric snagging in the zipper, but I have not. The best thing about this case is literally all of its pockets. I wouldn't be able to do it justice by explaining them all, but suffice it to say that there are several large pockets for 3-4 palm-sized electronics (MP3 player, camera, Flip, GPS, phone) and several small pockets for backup batteries, memory cards, wires, nd chargers.
Since I received this case, I've taken it with me on two trips across the country. Even with all the stuff I've crammed inside, it's still slim enough to fit into one of the compartments in my laptop bag. The one and only thing I would change about it is the useless flat pocket on the back of the case; Amazon could have either added an elastic band or gotten rid of it completely. Otherwise, a perfect, functional case that someone put a lot of thought and design into. Absolutely worth $10!

I'm always looking for bags and cases to store all the stuff I think I have to take with me. The problem is finding the perfect bag or one that does it all. This is a nice attempt but it is still limited due to sized pockets or areas of the case. There are great ideas. Using mesh/flexible pockets, some zippered some not, some that swivel out like on a hinge. And the semi-soft shell is a great idea. It does help protect what is inside yet it is not that extremely hard material that makes it feel bulky. The inside is a bright orange which makes it easer to see what is there.
What I usually find limiting about most cases is my stuff is either too big or too small for the size of the pockets. I may be able to get one thing in perfectly but maybe the power adapter or something else has to be squeezed in. So I find it hard to figure out what I should put in this. What I would like to see is a bag or case that you can tailor to your own needs. (Of course if I knew what that was I could probably make a fortune!)
It is a great case and some of the other reviewers have found it works perfect for them. I did try my Kindle 1 but it was a bit too snug and I am concerned how it pushes on the buttons. It is one of the better cases out there and I will find a use for it.
